Hello gentlemen
Several months ago I contacted the Simulcast guru’s to see if there was a solution to using my Airport express in conjunction with windows media player.
At that time you had no answer so this old fart persisted and found a program called “AirFoil” haven’t been using long but seems to work fine takes a bit to get accustomed to but solved an issue for me.

Why does the stock Android alarm stop ringing after 30 seconds and not even snooze, even if you don’t respond to it? Slept through the first alarm this morning, woke up 45 mins late. Not too happy… Anyone got any recommendations for another Android alarm clock application that can handle multiple alarms and rings until you switch it off? +The Simulcast and +Bill Stebbins I’m looking at you!

Listener email:
Hey Simulcast crew!
I was just listening to this weeks past show and wanted to email you since it seems not enough listeners do so… The past handful of shows have by far been the best in the entire life of the Simulcast. I love the direction you’ve taken. The informal approach mixed with actual, educated tech talk makes you guys seem really down to earth and not think of yourselves as iconic and unapproachable figures. You’re simply a show for the people.
Other than that, keep up what you’re doing. You each bring a different aspect in and I love it. Keeps things interesting.
We should start a donate or request button on the site to decide what beer Geoff drinks each week, and possibly pay for it. That’d be entertaining.
Thanks guys!

Acer AspireRevo 3610 Unboxing
Posted by Bill Stebbins in General, Home Theater on October 31, 2009
Just got my Acer AspireRevo 3610 nettop from newegg.com last night. I shot a quick unboxing video and plan to do some more videos as I use this machine as a home theater PC with a projector.
So far I’m loving it. It’s a Windows 7 Home Premium dual-core Atom 1.6Ghz machine with 2GB RAM, Ion graphics, 160GB hard drive, GigaBit ethernet, SPDIF, HDMI, eSATA, wireless keyboard and mouse, and a whole host of features that is amazing for the price of $329.
More thoughts about it later…
