Greetings once again from Southern Europe.
Do you guys know of the Rikomagic MK802+?
As far as I can figure out, it’s a little android 4.0 device for the tv.
It’s about 50 dollars and would seem a nice DNLA streamer.
I use my trusty old Asus tf101 as DNLA server in the home, since it is a low power-always on device with a little over a TB of storage.
But what do you think about the mk802?
A gig of hertz, a gig of ram, 4 gigs plus micro SD of local storage, 720 and 1080p HDMI, and even a USB host port.
Is it enough to be a good streamer?
Seems both attractive and scary for that price.
Hope you have any input about it.
Thanks, Arne, Occupied Territory of Northern Cyprus
Why does no one say iPhone phones, when everybody says windows phone-phones?
I haven’t counted but I think there have been more iPhone phones to choose from than Windows Phones.
Two colors of each and two or three storage versions of each model.
Granted, an HTC Titan is a bit more different to a Lumia 720 than a white iPhone 4 16gig is to a black iPhone 4 32gig, but then Apple don’t like to confuse their customers.
Oh, and don’t be too hard on IOS6.
As René have said numerous times on the iMore show; Apple is a hardware company.
They make their software to sell their hardware.
And they’ll figure out the kinks soon enough.
The iPhone phones are still best selling worldwide.
Got long again… Sorry
Anyway, hope I didn’t bore anyone to death.
Have a good one (or cold one), Arne
